It's just that you can't. And there is probably 3 reasons:
1. You just started and don't understand how the FCS system works.
2. You do not fully understand the thing you are fighting and have not "gotten gud" yet.
3. If it's PvP you're talking about. Netcode so I can't really blame you.
Plus if you truly want to effectively dodge, just use Schnieder parts.
Due to the lack of i-frame, it's almost impossible to be unscratched. But don't take that too seriously since you are using some 10-meter-tall mech instead of humanoid creature and can tank decent amount of damage.
If you are talking about some highly accurate attacks with visual and sound warnings, be aware that they are easier to dodge when you boost toward the opposite direction of your movement, they can't predict that.
Yeah, but 370 means you can also dodge bullets, which are teeeeeeechnically a kind of missile
If you want to avoid getting hit you need to move your mech out of the enemy's line of fire.
Never stop moving, ever. Raw speed is SO much more effective than raw HP in most cases.
IE if a missile is coming from above and in front of you, dodge forward when it gets close (it will curve down behind you and hit the ground). Things like that.
