Automatic kinetic weapons are still impotent
1.05 buffs are a good step forward. However it did not address the core problem of these weapons having such a low projectile speed that they're almost trivial to avoid.

Also the new Attache might be the worst auto weapon rn.

Absolute and total nonsense. If they buffed them any further, you wouldn't have to think about what you're doing. Game's not gonna hand itself to you on a silver platter!

Twin Gatling tore the hell out of everthing for me starting at Ibis.

The Burst AR is still probably the worst kinetic weapon from what I've seen though (not the charge burst, the auto burst).

The best automatic kinetic weapon is the huxley, those things track and aim very well on their own

They're objectively trash tier in all their stats and have absolutely no reason to be used outside of the ransetsu RF and harris if going for the charge attacks, which are both mid at best. Seriously look at the numbers. There's multiple weapons doing the same thing and most of them are far behind the others with no meaningful redeeming factors.

As for OP, yeah the attache is pretty bad with its high weight and en cost for what little it does, worse at damage output, impact output both accounting for reload and without, and has a shorter burst duration ontop of that than just using the ransetsu RF. Though the worst weapon is still the ransetsu AR by a long shot. Thing is amazingly bad.

When someone make the claim that Ransetsu AR is the worst weapon in the game im just going to assume they have forgotten entirely about the Therapist, which is probably for the best.

The Therapist isn't a weapon, it's a bad joke wearing a weapon mask.

If all you're doing is staring at numbers, you're missing out on how the weapons actually function. It's funny when you're telling a person who primarily uses kinetics over energy weapons that they are "objectively" bad, as if that's going to override the user's experience or something. When i switched to S-Rank grinding, using the Ransetsu RF (in particular) is easy mode. You have to be trolling, at this point, or just being contrarian for no reason. Don't worry, nobody is listening to you.

Now that I think about it, you probably just don't like kite builds lol.

me who use turner and still kicking people AC in rank: well yeah they are not the best but not that bad.

Check your range homie. Machine Guns aren't worth much until you're within 100m, but they shred in that range.

I've been using dual Ludlows since launch. They're fine.

best part is before the last buff their impact output was on par with the therapist.

I use many builds all the time, including kiting builds, rifle builds have been one of my favorite options to use throughout the game. The ransetsu RF pumps out more damage, more stagger, has better range, has better damage per reload, has better direct hit adjustment, in practice this means that it actually gets staggers on targets and has some ammo left to punish and has a decent punish instead of struggling to get to that point in the first place.

you can't use ARs like a "workhorse" weapon. it's not meant to be fired all the time to do chip damage that gradually builds up, unlike in the old games.

trying unloading one of them on a staggered target. they are almost on par with melee weapons.

All the other rifles do more damage on a staggered target and also work as chip damage though.

You expect tiny, lightweight assault rifles to match up to big, HEAVY, bazookas or something? They're low cost, cheap weapons that act as good secondary armaments, aside form gatlings of course.
