Spoilers - NG++ ending where's Rusty

I just notice Rusty is unaccounted for during the NG++ route.

He last showed up in the investigate pursuer mission but he clearly survives/withdraws and he isn't seen then.

I think this is setting up the expasion where we play as Rusty.

tbh the themes and plot break down a bit in the ng++ ending, it's the weakest of the three even if it sets up the clearest path to a sequel/dlc

Yep, there is a bit too much cut to black, and it seems like you really made bad decision, rather than a good decision (even Ayre seems to call you out).

Yeah, I don't think we know Rusty's take on Coral release.

Rusty is basically on the side of protecting Rubicon, not just Coral, so he would fight you just like Father Dolmayan, but we don't see him or RLF forces at all during the carnage.

In fact, I think we killed O'Keefe BEFORE taking on Rusty in Investigate Pursuer.

On a side note, it is refreshing to have endings in an AC where you don't side with the corps for once.

We do, which is why I deleted the comment, I still don't think Rusty is alive though, specially as some DLC bait, if anything it's more likely we will get a prequel if anything.

Yeah, in this one, no ending is particularly pro-corp, but I do want a pro-corp ending with the Red guns LOL.

Yeah,all of the endings end with the corps getting a bloddy nose.

I think it's likely that Rusty was kileld by Carla or Walter, while 621 sleeps, he would def oppose Walter's plan, and yet he isn't even mentioned, meaning he was probably kiled before 621 awakens.
