I'm hoping with AC6 that folks will take to the genre again. It's been abandoned far too long.
Sadly this.
It didn't do THAT good when you think about it, even more if you point out their last game was Elden Ring.
I just wish we'll get games faster.
I mean, last time I remember a somewhat high budget game of this kind it was Daemon X Machina and that game was pretty disappointing with how grindy and repetitive it got tbh.
M.A.S.S. Builder is very nice customization wise, but it's indie and early access and the gameplay is still not quite there.
Mecha Knights wasn't bad at all for the price tbh, but its budget shows.
So I really hope this gives a bit of a bump tothe genre and more games start to appear
Heh, every non FromSoft Souls-like sucked.
Hell, even DS2, which "officially" is a FromSoft game, sucked.
I don't expect every AC-like to be quite as bad as those, but it's not gonna be on the same level as AC6 either.
I would buy parts dlc just for this games, but considering multiplayer it might not be a good idea.
