Although I would much prefer a port/remaster of AC 1-3 (along with the sub games like Master of Arena, Silent Line...etc) then AC 4 or 5 but thats just me.
They made a remaster for their weird Metal Wolf Chaos from 2004 so why not not
I heard Armored Core was a licensed mess though, and the rights for it are everywhere...

Has a lot of common point actually, also favor aggression heavily.
I felt at the time it was fine, but should've been sold under a different name, like Chromehounds was. The deep divide today between people that like the series and the people that just like Armored Core 4 seems to speak to the truth of that observation.
