I use Tian-Lao / Tian - Q generally. Not that I need the Quad/Tank builds in NG+. I personally like the ability to have longer periods of assault boost and flight dodge to cover ground, ignoring most of the trash to burst down objectives. Bipedal gives more options for that, while also having enough armor to handle bosses in a rather brute force and sloppy manner.
You can get some medium weight ones from Allmind from Combat Logs, and I know you get a set of heavier ones eventually, but I don't remember if its chapter progression or NG+.
also style and maybe a little weebiness may be involved in one's decision to use biped legs but never you mind that
Chapter progression, around CH 4/end of I think is when I found my Tian - Lao's.
- Reverse joint - High jump distance and good agility, but low AP and equip load
- Quad legs - Slower than bipeds with less agility, but not massively. Hover ability, which can definitely come in handy.
- Tank legs - Tons of AP, no agility.
Bipeds are a decently agile all rounder part.
