They’re tanky alright, but I prefer having more mobility.
They're also the only leg type that isn't omni-directional from what I can tell. You must steer and turn to go in a different direction while ground-boosting, unlike every other leg type which can switch direction on demand.
Reverse joint legs are also great, but more situational than quads. ^^''
Don't need huge HP pool when you can jump/hover over your problems. ♥
Quad Legs have a decent load capacity and the ability to hover, which makes them amazing to rain death from above with rocket and grenade launchers.
Reverse joint legs can jump very quickly up and to the sides, which makes dodging attacks pretty easy, but they have a limited carry weight.
Normal legs are.... normal.
Also, you can kick too, as soon as you unlock OS Tuning (After the mission Wall Climber I believe).
OS upgrade assault boost and tap it again when at an enemy.
