Pre-download?

People on ps5 are able to pre-download the game, is this even a thing at steam? Just my 1st time preordering something

Steam goes by west coast time for big things (I think you need to pay up to release something asap) so we gotta wait until the store resets at 12pm

If only steam could add a feature where we can DL the game before its release but just lock it until the release date so we can save time and get into the game asap once the lock is lifted

It's up to the publisher to use that feature, not up to Valve.

If I dont get a pre load, at least 5 hours before launch I will Refund it and buy a Legit copy which is being sold for 1/2 price. This is disgusting, as I have said. I have Starfield pre-installed already, yes all 116GB of it. Where on earth is the Pre-Load for this game!

I Paid £50 to support the dev's and the Platform and the game, and to get the game pre-loaded. I will buy it from another site and yes it is legit for like £30 with all the DLC and install at release like I guess I am having to do on steam. Tell me what benefit do i get buying through Steam then?

if you mean like a disc for pc you're still going to have to download it on steam.

No I mean a pre load. As in I can download the game files before it launches, you know like every other game and PS5 players can!
