Gameplay looks like it is from 2010

Look up a game called "Front Mission Evolved", it literally did what this game is doing way back in 2010. It even had shooting missions where you would need to leave your mech and run on foot to kill people.

I don't know how anyone is hyped for this game. Gameplay looks old. Graphics are lackluster. I am not sure this game really needs to exist at all.

I played that game through its entirety. It was a great game, despite being a break from the rest of the Front Mission franchise.

I think Front Mission Evolved looks better than this game. Wanzers look better than the crap they have in this game. For example, go watch the most recent gameplay vids of AC6, particularly the IGN one. When mechs are flying, the jets they are emitting don't even face the correct directions to provide propulsion that align with the trajectory of the mech. It's particularly bad with the leg jets. AC6 looks super sloppy and non-nonsensical from just 7minutes of gameplay footage

I'm sure that this game, does, need to exist. But hey OP, it's your opinion. My personal opinion is that this game looks fantastic, as in new game soon to be released in 2023 fantastic.

The game looks underwhelming and boring. Some of the mech animations, like flying, look incredibly lazy.

All of the comments "defending" the game here are just conspiracies about Discord raids instead of actually talking about the merits of the game

Well, to be fair the gameplay of Armored Core games are iterations on the original game released in 1997. Front mission originally launched in 1995. So I suppose its fair to say at some level Armored Core had inspiration from Front mission but they are hardly the same the game. So no its gameplay is not like 2010, it's like 1995 and there are many fans like myself who would prefer it stay that way.
