A patch has been released. This contains slightly more than just a hotfix since the Cave of Dragons has been reworked. There are also some adjustments for Steam Deck to get the game approved as compatible.

• Movement via the control stick is now omni-directional. The old 8-directional movement can be re-enabled from from the Controls section of the Options menu.

• Did a quality pass over the Cave of Dragons.

  • Layout is the generally the same, but collision and layering errors have been fixed.

  • All maps have a new visual effect and some have been adjusted slightly.

  • Encounter pool has been slightly expanded. (No new monsters have been added to the game.)

  • Faulgan has a new overworld sprite and heals on phase transition in battle.

  • A new room has been added to the bottom of the area with a couple of new items and a shortcut out.

• The Old Castle now has a shortcut from the bottom back to the entrance.

• The item description for skill-granting fusion items now shows the skill's power and effect.

• Expanded Chimarro's learnset.

• Fixed two endgame bosses (#28 and #30) softlocking the game on running out of MP.

• Fixed a bug where certain turn end dialogues would be skipped if multiple enemies were present.

• Input bindings in the Options menu now use glyphs and abbreviations to better fit in button space.

• On Steam Deck, Start and Select are replaced with appropriate glyphs in the Options menu.

• On Steam Deck, the keyboard input options are hidden unless a keyboard input is pressed.
