Anyway, I doubt it, but the devs are doing DLC, so maybe they do something about it.
But that aside, it's a little complex to set up, but you can use vJoy / CvJoyInterface / AutoHotKey together to create a virtual joystick device and map keyboard keys to it so that you can play games using a keyboard and mouse, although that's somewhat limited in capabilities since you don't have any way to replicate analog sticks or triggers.
Could actually be a disservice for the game, making people hate it, which would be a huge backfire of trying to appease a "vocal minority". I can already see it: "Wow, this game plays like ♥♥♥♥, don't buy it".
I honestly think you have no idea what you're talking about OP. anyway just take it from those that have played this already.
to be fair I never got to use aether dash on this game. the normal dash was good enough, and by good enough I was still dying quite a lot.
Lol.
Stop projecting your limitations and insecurities on others.
You probably don't even know what a hitbox is.
I do play hardcore 2d games on keyboard and I will never use a gamepad.
reWASD (paid software) does let you have a virtual gamepad bound to your keyboard, though.
Dead Cells works fine with KB&M.
Loopmancer works fine with KB&M.
Tower Hunter works fine with KB&M.
Damn, even Iconoclasts, a one-man game works fine with KB&M.
There is no excuse.
And I aint using 3rd party software just to fix devs' laziness.
Now we're talking.
Now I can add this to wishlist.
Oh god it's a such a fun game. It does work well with just keyboard. They don't have mouse support, but that's ok. It's really not needed.
Make sure you go into config set up first to set the keys to what you feel comfortable doing. I have NO issues what so ever playing this game with keyboard.
For everyone that bawks at the idea of playing this game with keyboard. It's just silly that they could be so closed minded to it. I have played generations of Nintendo and Sega platforms and games on PC via emulation. Your only real option of playing them is with a keyboard.
Also, just like with learning how to play with a controller. It is all just button memory. That is it. Remember what button does what and pressing it at the right time. In fact, you can be far faster with a keyboard. With fast button responses, a more open palm and finger free to move anywhere. Less chances of cramps from your hand in a clinched state.
Not saying you can't enjoy playing with a controller but seriously get over your limited mindset. If the game allows for button mapping. You can totally use a keyboard and or mouse.
