Why this is so cheap!
Things that is free cost more than your life.
Things that state the price clearly is cheap.

You can choose to pay in game and use your money to buy more support card.
and imagine they added new card every time. force you to update your deck.
in this case, you would end up spending more than dear days.

Vanguard basically give you everything for just 70 USD . no hidden charge in game or extra charge. you can even get discount for it.

you want to spend 70usd or infinite amount of usd (just compare yugioh and dd)

There are a lot of threads that talk like this just like what you said.
(I too wrote a thread similar to you but it already go to bottom at this point)

I spend time on forum since demo and I can assure you that you're not alone
many of us here thinking like you.

But there are a lot of people too that seems to not like this game.
Especially region that got 70$ price tag on this game. I guess it's normal to not ok with that, everyone have different opinions after all.

It’s because there’s just a lot of direct examples even from a long time ago as to why this game isn’t worth 70$. There’s a different expectation between a service f2p game and a standalone b2p game and when the game is more expensive than literally the previous one in the series for practically minimal level of quality, it just ain’t right.

LMAO many of us, like how many out of the sub-2k players are on board with you?

Feels more safe to say there's well over 7 billion people who agree this game is not worth it.

Ah yes, every single human on the planet wants to play Cardfight, obviously.

You can drop $70 day 1 on an EXPANSION in Hearthstone or MTG or whatever and not even have a single viable deck.

You dont know CFV at all, do you? Every 2-3 months bushi release new set, in which 90% of the time apear new cards that make your deck crap, if you dont use them. And quess what? Additional sets already in the list of dlc and cost MONEY. So you can shove that 70 up to your thing, because as soon as set 6 and lyrical3 come out in DD, your deck become junk unless you buy this sets with real money (and yep, you NEED to buy them, or no new cards)

Wait. I thought DLCs are optional cause you can still grind them, including upcoming cards. So, you actually have to pay for any new cards that will or might be released later?

70 for base game and season pass for me even less lol

I'm not see you in any thread before. So I guess you just arrived.

Well, we can have different opinion. It's fine.

At the end of the day. Not every game is for everyone.

We have 5 set in base game. They planned to release 4 more set next year.
My 2cent is it's fine. For story mode the 5 set in base game is more than enough.
For PvP yeah you may behind everyone, but it's just 4 set.
And 4 set in CFV were more like 1 set of MTG in term of power creep and amount of cards.

So the power gap still not that big. I'd say you still have a chance like 45% to win even with not buy any dlc (thanks to drive check mechanic lol)
ronelm2000 Nov 19, 2022 @ 12:54am
Honestly, the only way it is expensive is if you want to try out every deck until the end of VG-D era, and even then it would still be cheaper than making all decks in YGOMD under 1 account.

Now if you prefer instead YGOMD's gacha on cards system, be my guest lmao.

only character packs and ones that give SP cards, sets under pass would not be available at all unless you buy them with money

just look at meta of original, everything without set6+ onwards, are way behind in creep. (except maybe prison), and look what tops now, its lyrical3, berks and stuff with set6-7

Ohh sorry. Yeah you're right. So maybe 1 - 15% chance to win without buying dlc lmao.

But again my 2 cent. When u go to real tournament you pick your best deck cuz it's obvious.
But in ranked game I think everyone can be more loosely to play what they like more?
C'mon It's not 1 day event like real tournament.
I dunno, Really my 2cent. :steamhappy:

(But if this game ranked match is so much competitive too like irl, then I'm not gonna touch it. I just want to play the deck I like really xd)

So the argument here is:
Some company is abusing their customers to the max, so any other company that does it slightly less should be praised into high heaven.

I can only hope the OP is farming awards cuz like so many other people their mind has fallen to pure stupidity and sees some value in steam points.
The alternative would indicate mental illness.
