Whenever starting up the game, it says: "RPGVXAce RTP is required to run this game"

Sorry for the weird composition of the question...but what I mean is...is this like an actual horror game with jumpscares and scary stuff...or is just a normal game with a horror setting? I am not into "horror" games but I don't mind "horror themed" games...and I really like rpgmaker games...this ones look interesting...so i'd like to know what I am getting into...

Spoilers ahead, be advised. In the fight at the castle, I expected there to be SOMETHING that would happen if I just refused to fight. Or to have the option to flee. Instead, I neither attacked nor got attacked, and couldn't flee. It would be nice if there was at least a dialogue after a few turns that acknowledges that you haven't taken any actions that cause HP damage. Unless it's a bug that they were only taking counter stance and focusing, it seems to me like all that happens is a stalemate if you try...

Turns out inventory isn't shared between characters when switching POV, so the usual strategy of removing gear from party members before they leave can actually backfire.
