Hey, hi! We’ll be expanding the safe’s functionality in the next patch. It will basically have two uses. First, it’ll serve as a money storage from which the employees will take their daily wages. Second, it’s also the place where you’ll need to set aside money for Mr. Lock – right now the safe fills that role story-wise, but we don’t yet have the proper mechanic for those payments in freeplay mode. We’ll most likely add it in one of the patches in the first quarter of 2026.

Would been nice if you changed the "toll tip" for the safe for now, so it is clear that you can not take money out of the safe, yet.
