My game doesn't start anymore, i have also installed the UW mod.
Emmm... Nope. Tao is just a bearer of knowledge of Commander Proto-fiend, like Yuzuru for Koshimizu.
trouble loading taking up notably longer andcausing the framerate to tank on average.
First Hogwarts Legacy managed to virtually be unplayable for over a month with a update before a patch came out to fix it and now this notably happening again with Vengeance? I love the games there were released this year and before but these updates and response times regarding affected updates are increasing my skeptism of future games regardless of their developers if the various results from them make it tedious to even start the game.
This new patch seems to be incompatible with those files and prevents the game from even starting. If you don't remember where they are and / or what makes up the files, it's in your folder for the game (which you can find by going to Browse Local Files in the game properties), in Binaries -> Win64. Any file that says "SMTV Fixes" in it (I had three, but you may have more or fewer), delete them. I had troubles opening the game for multiple days, but when I deleted those files, it opened first try. Yes it sucks that you have to sacrifice SMTV Fixes, but I figure you'd rather an inconsistent frame-drop-ish game (which apparently this patch fixes anyway) than no game at all. At least, I know I do.
