The soundtrack in this game is kinda meh
I don't know if it's because I just came off from P3R or Nocturne is just more memorable in comparison.
I do like that the theme starts as soon as you attack but that's about it. I regret harpooning Metaphor: ReFantazio's battle theme even that's better to hear every encounter lmao.

It's not meh, it's just something different to what you're used to. It's not your cup of tea, it's as simple as that, just a matter of preference. I personally find this one more memorable than P4 Golden's ost, even P3R. I can count with my fingers the amount of P4G and P3R tracks I regularly listen to.

This game though, I listen to most of the tracks. I even made a mod for personal use that replaces Persona 5 boss fight themes to this game's boss fight themes because I feel that they are perfect to capture how important the fights are in P5 Royal, how much are at stake.

P3R's soundtrack is worse than the original P3. Your opinion can be safely thrown in the trash.

Da’at Kabukicho and Battle primordial goddess would like to have a word with you.

When the drums start in kabukicho the song is so good. I couldn't imagine hearing battle magatsuka and not vibing.

Battle Magatsuka is a literal remix of Valhalla from Megami Tensei 1.

Okay? What's your point?

Just saying that it's a good track, is all.

Yeah I'm used too hearing good songs from Shoji so this was a surprise to hear assery from Atlus and turns out it was a different composer so that explains it.
Also explains why Metaphor which I hated at first sounds better to hear every battle encounter than this because it's from Shoji.

Also explains why SMT Apocalypse sounds like a slightly better(Not much still arse) vengeance soundtrack because it's from the same guy lmao. Damn bro dude can't make any soundtrack in succession. He hit peaked with SMT IV and dropped quality with each game

You have extremely bad taste. I don't even know what to say other than that.

Sorry, it came off very blunt and i wasn't really sure how to react. I think it's my favorite battle theme from vanilla.
I recently played Nocturne within last year. This soundtrack is a far better quality of music then Nocturne. Perhaps you like how Nocturne's track fit in the game, but I think your judgement is based on familiarity and nostalgia. Some of the tracks in this game are absolutely phenomenal.

To add, there are a few tracks that aren't that great either. But I think that comes to preference and not quality.

Don't mind him, he's just a troll. He takes pleasure from causing a stir and provoking others. Miserable, really. He could've just said that he prefers Meguro's music over Kozuka's in a civil manner instead of what he did. Your reply won't change his stance. Look at how he responded to my reply.

I disagree. I'm very open to music if it's good. I could go from Alexia's theme from Resident evil code veronica to something like The shape hunts Alyson from Halloween then back to Baile de violetas from blasphemous. I might sound really harsh about the soundtrack in this game admittedly but just that quality is quite disappointing in comparison to their previous games. It's okay but it's not something I would listen to willingly in a playlist.
Heck I think Tokyo conception trumps anything in this game as far as set up goes.

Private Profile is the biggest sign of a troll and you also don't own the game.

We've already been over this. P3R's soundtrack is worse than the original and smtv. Your opinion is unneeded.
