SPOILERS FOR ENDING BUT NEED HELP COV

I'm doing canon of vengeance and at the end where you would have the choice to side between Tao and Yoko it forces me to go Yoko. Is this an intended feature or have I made too many chaos alignment dialogue options?

Pretty sure that means you leaned too far Chaos throughout the game.

When I got to that point, it forced me to go with Tao with no option.

yeah what the person above said, in CoV the choices throughout the game matter for the ending, you never get to choose manually

You made too many chaos choices, I was given a choice to side with either. You just need to balance alignments.

Thank you for your replies guys. I have another question if you guys can answer it, Mastema gave me a quest to kill Samael. If I go ahead and kill Tiamat will the Samael quest be invalidated?

No. As long as you don't kill the final boss then you are fine.

As it turns out we are all wrong. I did research and I have made all chaos dialogue choices in the game and that is why I was initially locked into siding with Yoko. HOWEVER, after doing all quests involving Tao and accepting the kill Samael quest from Mastema I got the option to side with Tao in spite of making all Chaos dialogue choices. When Yoko arrives to the throne you can either say "I'm glad you are safe" or "I won't let you" which will determine which branch you take.

Does the quest killing Samael have anything with choosing between "I'm glad you are safe" or "I won't let you"? Because that quest only appears after you beat the game once.

That is incorrect. The quest for killing Samael appeared once I reached the Empyrean and I have yet to finish the game

I see. My bad. I didn't do the quest when I kill the last boss to get the cleared save for the 1st time so I thought it's included in the quest that you need to kill the superboss to unlock the godborn.
