1.Dantalion's second fight from Giten Megami Tensei
2.Druj from Shin Megami Tensei IF....
3.Pandora's second phase from Megami Ibunroku Persona (and im talking about the PSX JPN ver of that fight)
4.Two Specific Fights from SMT IVA but i really hate that game so i'm not even gonna mention them.
I don't think (but maybe when i get around to it) that boss fight you mentioned will ever be as bad as Dantalion's second fight, literal oneshots to your party and he is 10+ levels above you and your party. Also ♥♥♥♥ Druj with her instakill and healing spam.
1. You only need to kill Lilith
2. It will be a few turns before Lilith brings back any of the other qadistu, giving you some breathing room
3. Multi hit Phys and Light attacks grant you a press turn. If you really want to cheese the fight, get Cleopatra early and she wrecks their faces
And don't kill Eisheth, she is the key here. Keeping her alive will actually help you more than it does you harm. Of course you would also have to cast tetrakarn or at least Phys block every turn. Don't forget to cast buff and debuff as well.
(I know this is late, but in case anyone else is struggling, you can try this out.)
you can counter them by optimizing your team, fuse better demons and strategize.
smt v isnt even hard game if we are not counting superbosses
Just wanna point out the second statement isn't true actually. She'll revive a Qadistu on every single turn and that's even just playing the game on normal difficulty, lol. That's what made the fight annoying for me anyway. She just kept respawning one every single turn, so we constantly had to focus the add every time it came back, giving us less opportunities to attack Lilith.
The fight itself wasn't particularly difficult, but I do still think it's corny af whenever a boss can just constantly resummon adds during the fight, especially every turn. That's not difficult, it's just lame and time consuming.
It's a really fun fight to be honest.
