Nah that can't be it. I can run Elden Ring and CP2077 (not via Steam) and it's never crashed. Also CPU/GPU runs above 80 degrees for those games.
P3R and SMTV only run at 70 degrees or below and crashing.
game runs like smooth butter.
In fairness; most laptops aren't meant for 110% load-usage and usage over time WILL eventually make it start overheat if you push the limitations of the device on a consistent basis. Add to that the possibility of overclocking and well.... hardware has come a long way but it's still the main reason why they recommend an actual rig for serious gaming rather than a laptop
Not even the steam deck but one of those mobile computers like the Rog ally or the oneXplayer.
perhaps the issue its in your end.
This game is an Unreal Engine 4 title, as most games on PC, Switch, PS and Xbox are. If there was a major problem with that game engine, everyone would have it and we would propably all know about it.
Now tell me this: Why does almost nobody that has crashes ever post their specs? How is anyone supposed to figure out where the issue might be?
trust me bro.
