If you care about the "story" dlc go for deluxe, if not base. The Mitama DLC takes any fun out of it and while you can turn it off, not worth buying unless you go for deluxe anyway.

I went with Deluxe version because I wanted to play the subquests that come with it and the Mitama DLC will help with grinding way down the line when I decide to make a max level crazy builds of Jack Frost and Pyro Jack as I like to do that.

There's a few official sites that are selling the deluxe cheaper than normal price for the next few days. If you want to focus on all the story now.

Also be careful for the time being, as the anti-denuvo crowd had another new game to muddy the steam forums up with.
Instead of posting on the actual game, if they see that tag on the side that says DRM: Denuvo, they'll just flock to the discussion board to spam as much as possible.
