Anyone tried to load a switch save?
And I mean a SMTV:V save, after importing it from SMTV, replace a save on PC with the switch one and load it, does it work, like it somehow worked with persona 4 with the vita saves?

Can confirm you can load SMTVV switch saves on the steam version, just have to add the .sav at the end, a friend loaded my imported save with bonuses from the original game on his steam version and sent me a screenshot of it.

That's awesome ! Can it work the other way around too ??

I'll go on a trip in 2 weeks and I'll only have a cheap laptop and my switch with and I wondered if I'd have to wait until I come back home in a month to start playing the game on my PC if I can't continue with my progression on steam.

Only if your switch is modded, and if it is they usually come with a backup program for saves, then connect to the PC, and copy the file in the same place removing the extension, and restore the modified save back into the console, it should work. How to mod your switch, I don't know.

So you can take a SMTV Switch save, import it into SMTVV on Switch, and then take that save and use it on PC? Wish I'd have known that from the start. Could've saved me from repeating roughly 30 hours in Creation route if that is the case.
