If you dont want to use the pre order dlc...
If you dont want to use the sacred treasure dlc, that gives you two infinite use items at the beginning (Gleam Grenade, and Haraedo Bead) and cant be sold or discarded, be sure to go to the game in your library, and disable the dlc from the games properties menu under DLC. If you start a file like i did, then disabled it, it will lock your save until its re enabled.

Be sure to do it before you start a new save.

When you start the game and get to the first save point, (Leyline Fount) theyre added to your inventory. You can use them like a regular item but its infinite use.

I'm reassured, I don't have those items either, and I'm past the very first TP point (with the store there)

I'm on PS5 and there's no way to disable this crap. Not installing it doesn't help. Even using a different account, it still shows up. I'm absolutely malding and I'm going to contact PlayStation support tomorrow to hopefully get it removed from my account.

Was wondering how I got that crap. Tbh it's not as OP as it sounds, so it's probably not worth the hassle.. I certainty wouldn't bother Playstation Support over it, lol. The Almighty AOE item is pathetically weak, doing like 5-10 damage per enemy. It gets quickly outscaled and only use I could think of was saving some mana against slimes....

It bothers me just having it cluttering up my item menu, but I don't think it's enough for me to restart at this point.

Really wish you had an option to accept them or not.

I know they're weak but they look huge in the inventory and I just don't want to see them. I'll suck it up and deal with it after exhausting all other options.

Looks like theyre just good for early game so whatever.

The offensive item (forgot how its called) is only good when you encounter those Mitama demons. Their weakness change with each encounter, so the best way to quickly dispatch them before they run away is to use an almighty spell and the offensive item does just that.

Sadly this ain't the case. It does damage them, but only does like 5 damage. No where near enough to kill them

is having 2 items really that triggering? when you get so much more items in the game later, its going to get worse.
