But wow they really just talked about nothing for 4 minutes, huh? The closest they got to talking about SMT is the one guy saying "persona" completely unrelated near the end.
Well yeah, they were talking about some masks, not the game itself.
I'm glad they didn't. Can't entirely hate on the band because Corey Taylor is a chill dude and a very good vocalist, but Slipknot is kind of rough musically. Would not want to hear that on SMT soundtrack.
I feel the exact opposite. Back in the 90s. I thought they sounded too weak because of Corey Taylor's whiny singing parts. I would not want to hear them on an SMT soundtrack, but a much more brutal band like Morbid Angel or Human Remains, bring it on!
Other than that it has music that make use of guitars and drums, but certainly not anything like what Slipknot creates.

You could make an argument that the mask motif would fit with a Persona game, and I think it would be fitting for a crossover with persona where some of band members are added as personas, but I don't see them fitting in the the mainline series.
