So, is Shohei Yakumo a stand in for Raidou Kuzunoha XIV?

They brought back Demi-fiend, so why not Raidou as well?

I'd guess it's because of his canonicity, what with the role being shared with Dante.

Yakumo's also pretty different from Raidou in terms of personality, so maybe they just wanted to write a new character. Similar in visual and vibe, but new.

Also, keep in mind that the Demi-fiend used to be DLC in the original game. He and the Fiends aren't part of the main story. (Unless they changed that in the Canon of Vengeance?)

He also has raidou's voice in Japanese. The demi fiend quest is the same, it's just not dlc anymore.
