Mara is (obviously) male, both in Buddhism and in the SMT series.

What are you mean he is a girl? Where that come from? How girl can be a giant di**? How girl can have male voice?

Mara is a demon ruler of his own kingdom and a symbolizing the fear of death. Don't throw around such statements if you don't know anything about mythology.

Btw Mara is a name. But in japanese monk slang his name mean literally a di** that's why he has this design.

It’s only in strange journey he is considered female, The rest of the games he is considered male. Lucifer is literally female in strange journey and imagine.

in the spanish translation she treats herself as a girl, not my issue that english is a lame language with no gender distinction
cause instead of said "estaba preocupado" it says "estoy preocupada", which is worried in english for any gender, and in Strange Journey demon's caption is also a girl, so ig it depends on the game

How is smt related to the Spanish language at all? Did you decide just because the game is localized into Spanish, that means the game supposedly has Spanish origins? Or is what they say is true? And you didn't think that there could be translation errors in the game? Because I play in Russian. And 2 out of 10 I notice translation errors, because I don't know who is the translator of Atlus into Russian, it is immediately obvious that sometimes he does not understand the subtleties of the Russian language and makes mistakes, this can be treated indulgently.

But the fact that you say that there in some Spanish language Mara addresses himself as a woman, as if it should mean something? The main languages in the SMT series are only Japanese and English. Because these are the only two languages Atlus decides to voice, which means these are their main languages, and not some Spanish. So don't talk nonsense like Mara is a woman, man, take a closer look, Mara is literally a male genital, how can a male genital be a woman?

I mean, there's no need to be aggressive about it, spanish location did a very good job adapting the game, there can be errors yes
but still, that doesn't remove the fact Mara is a treated as she in SJ, fact that you totally ignored for some reason
again, you're overreacting too much over a game, I get that mara is a male for obvious reasons, I just find very funny that in SJ it's a "goddess" and what happened on SMTV location :SMT5V_Decarabia:
thanks for the correction he's not a girl in every game, SJ is really strange ig
