Your can find out your alignment by going to Tokyo and seeing which direction your avatar spins. Counterclockwise is chaos and vice versa for Law. So you may not know your choices in conversations youll know which options to select for to-be-done quests. Here are the other quests that impact the alignment:
- In Forrest Shinagawa, eat the golden apple that idun gives you or not
- In Shipping Yard Shinagawa: After fighting and beating King Frost, choose you kill him or leave him be.
- In First desert area: ; Listen to Aspara and kill Leanna or Listen to Leanne and kill Aspara
- Later youll come across sick looking Donkey Man with peacock feathers and Meditating Due with floating swords. Kill one of them.
also special in Vengeance, if you agree more with Yoko then you will end up with Chaos, if you agree with Tao then Law, although you can grind other point by doing quests and game option throughout the game
i was doing Chaos first in Vengeance, because i need Belial, Belial (Chaos) is more useful than Michael (Law), also the fact Inheritance Violation Miracle (Chaos) is much more useful than Rank Violation Miracle (Law), so IMO Chaos grants me better reward than Law
Endings are just a checklist in this game, nothing of importance is actually shown and there are only small variations to them except the Miracles you get.
I didn't know about the rotation thing yet, I'll check it when I'm home.
I do think I'll be replaying it with the increased level cap into NG+ to get all demons unlocked in compendium (eventually), so is Vengeance route the better option of the two to go with first?
Edit: hadn't posted this message when I wrote it, didn't see the last comment Bake sent.
Is there any variation to major bosses to the endings? Aside CoC and CoV having their own pool of bosses.
Only slight variations. I'll spoiler just in case but it's not that big of a deal.
You fight whoever doesn't follow your current alignment and just the order changes in different routes.
