im glad i bought the steam version
Google is now ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just wanted to say that.
2. new path called vengeance, you can choose between creation (original story) or vengeance story (completely new story), you can choose one of them in the beginning of the game, each path has its own new superboss
3. brand new virtual battle feature, now all your grinding session will be paid off because vengeance offer virtual battle, i admit even with all 999 stats i never feel safe when running virtual battle especially the elite one
basically these 3 things that doesn't exist in SMT V original w/o giving you any major spoiler, sp decide yourself if these 3 things worth the price
It adds better storyline, some different locations, demons and meaningful gameplay improvements across the board.
Even things such as being able to search for a particular skills among your essences makes things just less frustrating.
Also this runs great on Deck, I have motion blur off (cuz it sucks) but everything else on and it hit 97% GPU usage looking at the blue portal to the vendor in the first area. So I turned off ambient occlusion and GPU usage dropped to 88%, which I'm hoping is enough headroom to maintain 60fps the rest of the game.
Yes. After finishing the first route you have options to start a new game plus keeping certain things such as level and compendium. The second run should as result last just a few hours if you so wish.
I'm playing mostly blind on default difficulty. Only other SMT game I've played is Nocturne and that game you basically needed a guide for or you would spend a *lot* of time doing demon fusions to get past walls. And I don't want to do that right now. Just want to play. If I make a mistake the enemy usually exploits a demon weakness for more turns and kills them, so idk if it's necessarily easy. But I'm early in the game, maybe 3 hours in.
