Can you get fusion accidents via Reverse Compendium Fusion?

I was trying to fuse a specific demon in the reverse compendium... and it took 6 tries because accidents happened 5 times in a row... Got a little frustrating after that many times.

Were you on a Full Moon with the mutation miracle on? I played a very long 1st playthough and fused >75% of the Compendium without ever getting a single accident.

Then with the miracle and full moon I still only got one about 50% of the time.

I don't recall what moon was, and I'm not sure about the miracle either. Would I have had that within Chiyoda on a first playthrough of Creation? I'm around 75% of the Compendium now and in Taito.

This happened once. I tried to get Nyami Nyami, but got Makami. Luckily I spent Kodama, which I wanted to get rid of anyway.
