any reason to push magic further than 100?
I spent 9 hours grinding, finding all the mimans, getting loki and some other guy in the first zone "netherworld" was just wondering if that's a good point to stop putting points into magic? (i'm building up to be a magic user) and focus on vitality

I had the same question, and the answer is basically yes.

Higher magic will still make you deal more damage, even after 100, and your other stats will end up quite high naturally through various free stat increases.

Don't stop until you max magic. Every point counts.

From testing by others (Reddit), it seems there are diminishing returns on Strength/Magic after your Level+10, e.g. Level 99 Nahobino gets diminishing returns after 109 Strength or 109 Magic. After that, each point's effect diminishes more and more if you keep pumping Strength/Magic.

So when the diminishing returns become too much, it can be more valuable to put points into Vitality/Luck instead. Agility if you need Accuracy.

I'm doing a strength build. Hit Strength 150 at level 60 or so thanks to all the Haunt bonus stats. I'm still pumping everything into strength. So yeah, there is still gains to be had. I'm not sure what the max is though.
