English or Japanese voices?

Which is better, if you have expericence with both?

I always use the original language based on the game's original region. So if agame is made in German I pick the German voices, for example. But this is just a "me" thing.

Anyways, Japanese in this case.

The English voices here aren't THAT bad, but they have that typical "English dubs made by people who don't even know how the scene is playing out", so in many scenes it lacks emotion.

That said, I've played this in English on the Switch (because my eyes couldn't read the subtitles on the Switch's small screen) and again, they aren't that bad.

I usually like atlus dubs, but i could never stand this game's. Nahobino's voice is tragic.

Subjective but Japanese, because of the setting and just preferring the original audio. I don’t play Bioshock with Japanese audio so I don’t play SMT V with English audio, simple as that. Unless we are talking about persona 4 or tales of vesperia, Japanese audio all the way.

And only 360 vesperia. I can't deal with yuri having 2 very different voices.

i usually play japanese games with japanese voices, but atlus games never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ subtitle dialogue during battle so i don't know what any of the voice lines for attacks and stuff mean. the english voices are decent enough and plenty fun enough for voice lines to be iconic to your playthrough
