I also love Strange Journey, that one has a DS version and a "enhanced" version on the 3DS.
Obviously it's the shortened version of a question "Is this game completely standalone or it has some references to previous titles and if it has how big are those references? Will my gaming experience be ruined if I don't play them or those references are not too important so they can't affect my fun playing this game?"
But of course you can start reading Harry Potter from the last book, yup yup it's very smart, if you don't like it then there is no point reading previous books.
So wrong.
IF you play yakuza 6 you won't understand a SINGLE thing for example.
Bunch of games have sequels and prequels which are connected.
Im pretty sure he was talking about ANY game and those kind of questions in general. Otherwise it doesn't make sence he couldn't understand OP's question.
I mean... I know that. That wasn't the point. I wasn't explaining to OP that he can start playing smt from fifth part. I was explaining to that other guy OP's question since he didn't understand it for some reason. And the guy you first replied to did the same. I think it was clear enough was it not?
Also there is clear contradiction in your messages. So you said you agree it doesn't make sense he didn't understand op's question unless he was talking about ANY game in general. But you also said you are pretty sure he was talking about smt, not like a dragon. Weird.
