Demon Essences with Great Mana Spring?

I'm trying to recreate an OP Healer Build for Idun from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ghvufpE1nE

Ironically I didn't even have to follow this exact fusion recipe in my Canon of Creation Playthrough. I just got most of the skills via essence fusions. Now I just need an essence with Great Mana Spring to give to Idun and I'll be all set.

Also, can leveling up a demon you have give you said demon's essence? I ask because I fused a Horus with Great Mana Spring?

Yes, I do have the Konohana Sakuya and Dagda DLCs. But I still wanted to fuse Idun anyways because it would be nice to have a backup healer in case ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan with one of those super bosses. Also because she's cute. I could imagine her and Konohana Sakuya getting along well.

yes, demons have a chance to give essences when leveling up, apparently on the level they learn their last skill the chance is highest, so just save scum until you get it.

I've got a bunch of gospels saved up so I can quickly level up my Horus. What level does Horus learn his last skill?

If you want to farming essences by giving grimoire do it during the fullmoon you will have better getting 1. But tbh getting skills by fusion is still a best way.

Gospel is for lvling the MC. Grimoire is for demons.

you can check that when you go into its overview in the party, usually its 3 levels every level that demons learn new skills

Oh yeah, right. It's the Grimoires I've got a boatload of. Sorry about that. I get those two items mixed up sometimes. Though Gospels being used as powerup items for the Nahobino makes sense since he's a god. So it makes sense for a holy book like a Gospel(s) to strengthen a holy being while and occult book like a Grimoire would strengthen low level demons, angels and/or spirits.

Also, thanks for the MegaTen Fusion Tool link, greatly appreciate it. I also noticed that "Aogami Type-10" (Or is it Type-0?:https://game8.co/games/Shin-Megami-Tensei-V/archives/350214#hm_14 ) has Great Mana Spring, can I get any of these OP Aogami Husks at Chiyoda?

Pretty sure that type 10 is in Taito when I got that in CoV. But tbh at that point you can get enough demons with great mana spring like Horus, Sakuya, Titania, etc. I recommend getting Sakuya or Titania's essence because you don't have to learn art of essences 3 to unlock the last skills in essence.

After finding out that Horus's last skill level up was 45, I decided to go hunting for either Konohana Sakuya or Titania. I'm still in the process of putting together a team for defeating the former, but I finally fused myself a Titania. But I have some questions.

1. Is Maziodyne +3 the last skill she lerns?

2. Or is it Fairy Banquet?

3. If number one, all I have to do is just save scum until I get a Titania that gives me her essence for Great Mana Spring, right?

5. While we're on the subject, "Tn" in the Megaten Fusion Tool stands for "Talisman", right?

horus essence has great mana spring and you can even buy it from gustave, so you'll never run out.

Thing is in order for your demon to get that skill from essence fusion you need to learn art of essences 3 which is in Taito that is why I recommend Titania and Sakuya.

2 Fairy Banquet is the Magatsuhi skill.

Yeah. Could be 1-8 grimoire. Depends. But there is 1 thing I'm still not sure because I can't find the answer. That is I feel like when a demon gave you an essence they can't give you another 1 so have to remove them and resummon for another essence.

I was able to get Titania's essence! Thank you for your help. I greatly appreciate it. Now I just need to look over the Idun build video again to make extra sure everything is in order.
