Cleopatra got nerfed quite hard..
Any ideas for alternate builds...With now no longer resisting lightning and fire it seems any more damage focused build off the table and even the general support builds took a huge hit. How are people building cleo now?

Not sure if its worth trying to fill all the holes as if you add lightning, fire, light and phy resist you really got nothing left to play with. Is she just not viable anymore in endgame?

I used her a lot in Vanilla, but never once here. I think most people's endgame debuffer became Beelzebub + Debilitate.

His innate is Biondetta: "Doubles -kunda effects cast when no Herald, Megami, Femme, or Lady deployed".

Which means one debilitate drops the entire enemy party to -2 for everything. The restrictions on his innate mean all the best party buffers become unusable, except Tao, and more importantly, the best party buffer, DLC Konohana Sakuya.

Which sucks if you don't have her. But Tao is an acceptable alternative.

Hmm does Tao no longer leave before last boss? Was hoping to make Cleo work but not sure if i should even try lol.

Tao leaves before the final boss on all routes but I think 1 iirc. She leaves the moment you hit Empyrean in some. My bad, I was thinking about using her for the VR battles specifically.

Cleo will make do though. I checked, and she's not as bad off as you made her seem. I suggest not covering anything except her Dark weakness. Phys skills tend to be hit all at this point, so as long as you have Repel or Absorb Phys on 1 party member it's fine. But if you do want an extra resist, Phys is what I'd go for.

Have some combination of Boon Boost and Boon Boost EX on her (EX from a Beelzebub essence in Empyrean, or Shiva), debuff 1st turn, then you can switch her out for an attacker if you want. Bring her back in if a boss Dekundas. Unlike party buffers which tend to also be the party healer, the debuffer can be easily moved around only when needed.

Cleo can still support well during the mid-to-late game transition period since her natural kit's just very good. I still used her up until the very end of CoC though as an offensive support since her offensive affinities were solid enough. If anything, her weakness to ailments/status effects came to be more concern than her lack of resistances to those types.

She's still amazing. I though the nerf to frolic's mp cost was pretty big but with a few sutras it's good enough.

Im on area 3 with artemis, cleo and sakuya and i'm absolutely stomping everything that comes across (i actually beat her lvl 50 so when she joined i used a few essences on her and voila, i got an op demon 11 levels higher than me lol).

For endgame she and belzeebub are fantastic.
