Dagda Build?
Anyone know if Lost Hit is better in any way than the other severe phys attacks? Or does Dagda's unique skill just kinda suck?

Lost hit is 340 pwr, 60% instakill for 65 MP which is highest power phys skill (second only to DF). So fighting normal enemies is much easier, even if they have high VIT stat. But damage formula is unknown and I've heard that it could be sqrt based, so multihit tend to end in highest damage. So you could give him
LOST HIT
NULL LIGHT (to cover weakness)
ENDURING SOUL (good to have)
HIGHT PHYS PLEROMA (for LH damage)
PHYS PLEROMA (good to have)
HELL THRUST (Ignores phys resistance, for enemies resistant to phys damage)
MURDEROUS GLEE (Crits are good)
NULL PHYS + NULL DARK (NULL TO ALL)

thanks, he does seem really nice against bosses that don't resist physical damage in that case

Generally you want either 100% crit or full pierce
Figment Slash is 100% crit + Impaler's Animus for Pierce
Hell Thrust is Pierce + Critical gem for 100% crit.

Lost Hit is somewhat mid, because it doesn't pierce or 100% crit. You will need Impaler's
Animus + Omagatoki Critical. You lose the possibility of using Savage or Adversary Omagatoki against phy res.
He is just ok I guess.

I might go with your first build for Dagda like Ahriman did as well. Especially if it can be useful against Masakado.

If you don't mind me asking, what other demon builds did you use for the Masakado boss fight besides Dagda abd obviously the Nahobino whose required by default? What skills did you give to your Nahobino and the two other demons in your party?

It was a while ago so I honestly don't remember, I know I had demeter too and I remember I got quite lucky because Dagda managed to make Masakado fall asleep with Lost Hit when I was about to get wiped so that gave me a bunch of time to reset and heal up. iirc the trick is to bring demons that resist as many elements as possible instead of nullifying them, then Masakado won't be going for freikugel as much and won't get free press turns from crits. I might be remembering wrong though, it was almost a year ago

Okay, so Dagda is a definite maybe/yes considering his resistances to pretty much everything except light. In regards to healers, which one is better (at least for the Masakado boss), Demeter or Konohana Sakuya? I ask because I'm not sure if you yourself used the DLC or not. I have a Demeter that can block Fire, Force, Light and Dark, can resist status ailments. The rest does normal damage.

I'd say that's a better resistance pool than my current Konohana, who can Repel Fire, Resist Elec plus Status Ailments and Block Force. Wouldn't you agree?

Also, if you're not sure how to respond, that's fine. Especially since it's been a while for you. I'm sure somebody might offer their two cents given my recent forum activity.
