About Magic Crit builds
So I tried to make one with both crit % passives and Lahmu in the party.
I was testing that but I barely saw Crits with Moonlight Frost, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but is there a more effective build?
Oh and I know Heavenly Ikuyumi with full debuff would deal more damage doesn't solve the crit issue and it can be a chore to set up. Unless you have Beelzebub but that's level 95.
Any advice would be nice, thanks!

Up your Luck
Care on luck. I've heard reports its doesn't seem to affect crit much if any at all. Luck is definitely confirmed for debilitiating status effect success like poisen.

Magic, *by default* can't crit. Magic is either ok base damage plus mag stat or a weakness boosted hit.
There are ways to make magic crit , but I can't recall them off the top of my head.
Always ran a phys Naho and doing so right now. Disgusting 191 STR 124 AGI Murakumo build critting Shiva for 5K + kind of build per move.

The problem with magic, to me, is it takes up too many slots. You need Enduring Soul as a safeguard, 2 elements and 2 boosters for those elements (Ideally High Pleroma), so that's 5 slots down, leaving you with three. You could have a third element and booster and use the last one for the revive chant but that's not really good for DPS.
Ionno.

Well
I'm still trying to make it work and so far having Lahmu (Divine Decree: party magic with positive skill potential may crit) and Glasya-Labolas (Divined Fortune: ally with sukukaja x2 gets their crit rate raised) helps a bit but is still inconsistent.
Both Moonlight Frost and Heavenly Ikuyumi are so far the best choices for magical MC but picking only 1 for the boosters seems the best.

I used magic crit build with HI to kill DF. It managed to crit from time to time, but not consistently enough use crit zealot. Lahmu is best when there are lots of magic users in the active party with skills that hit multiple times.
STR builds are more suited for crits IMO.

So it seems, looks like Magic is better to hit weak points than trying to rely on crit even with all that preparation.
I will have to reload a previous save considering all the resources I ended up using to try and make that work.
Thank you for your input
