Tao discussion regarding skills (endgame Vengeance route spoilers)

Surely I can't be the only one disappointed with Tao coming back as a goddess and having even worse skills than she had as a human, right? I used her for the longest time because she had a capable party heal, resurrect, defensive buff, accuracy/evasion buff, and even had a debuff to lower enemy stats, AND a light attack.

I broke level 60 last night and I just reached Ueno, but I can't even bring myself to use this version of Tao because her new skillset is just dogwater, tbh. So yeah, I'm still running around with Titania right now. Only thing that would make her better right now is if she had Patra/Me Patra and could help deal with status ailments.

Just out of curiosity, I checked to see if any guide even bothered mentioning Tao as a good healer and nobody recommends her, lol. There are so many better ones you can use. It just made me kinda shake my head, that's all. I used to rely on her so much and find myself scratching my head how her human form was basically more powerful than her new form.

To be frank Tao and Yoko should not be relied on. Any demon/playable character that is not consistent and always usable should not be relied upon. But, teaching her whatever you want using essences is kinda easy after she enter your party as a goddess . Just don't think she can be relied upon even when you do this. Cuz even if you have more control over her and she don't have a Guest icon she still is not always available.

And the reason that her human form is maybe more reliable (not rly sure cuz I never used her) is that her human form is a recent addition to the game. They probably didn't even re-balance her normal form.

what do you mean her human form is a "recent addition to the game" ?

was Tao literally just NOT present in the original SMTV or something?

She was, but just not as a playable character. She only became playable when she turned into a goddess.

I've been talking about some of this stuff like it was just present in the original

no wonder some of the people I spoke with looked confused when I began talking about Shakan earlier, lol

Kinda pointless to use any other healer when she exists. Heal HP+MP+All stats+Has enough slot for all repels and enduring soul.

Yeah... she is insane. And works fine with Beelzebub since she is not Herald, Megami, Femme, or Lady. Which is crazy to me she is not regarded as one of these.
Is like Beelzebub is a woman hater but has a waifu that he gives a pass.

They changed and added a lot. Its the first "complete edition" full price bullcrap by Atlus that at least has a decent amount of new content.

I remember people saying she was OP, so I finally got her like 3-4 days ago, saw her skillset and I'm like "bro, this is it...? hell nah" cause I ain't spending THAT much MP just for her unique skill for a "slight HP restore for all allies+buff", lol. Everything else she has is kinda whatever, so I've just been using Titania for level 50-70 content (just beat Beelzebub last night, still going for the keys right now).
