Yea the story and characters are kinda bad, if that's a deal breaker i can understand why you would drop it, a real smt fan or enjoyer wouldn't drop it though. Saying the game is actually a 0/10 is just wrong. How do you get tired of the press turn system and smt music, but you are praising pokemon in the next sentence. You have bad taste if you think smt music and combat is bad.
I don't think you should compare pokemons lazy games to smt. There is a reason palworld went so hard, pokemon games have been getting repetitive lately, and a lot more love is put into smt than pokemon.
Lol I won't deny it's super tempting, maybe I'll wait for the Switch version to go on sale since SMTV hit sales fairly quickly.
I was just so disappointed in SMTV since SMTIV was just so much more interesting. SMTIV felt like Elden Ring where you're thrown into a really interesting mysterious universe with a dark secret, none of that was in 5 imo, and you really were forced to make decisions in 4.
Also the demon designs were lacking in 5, in 4 Lucifer looked like a Mexican alien demonic matador, we got the archangels that weren't your normal generic looking ones but biblical correct grotesque ones, and Lilith was awesome looking too.
