Can't reach a location

Hello I just reached the desert area with that big tower in the middle, there's a quest, treasure and presumably an Aogami essence on the right, how do I even get there?

I assume you're talking about Tokyo Tower. There's another city section downhill from that with pathways on the right that lead up and around into the mountains. You can either drop down from there or circle around. Otherwise you might need to send a screenshot because that might need a Magatsu Rail somewhere if it's someplace else.

If you've already explored the whole map and you still can't reach something try running around the general looking at all the companion spots until they have a red glow. There's a magatsu rail in those spots.
