Also, i'd recommend using Freikugel from Nahobeeho essence instead of Murakumo, it's roughly the same damage but has high crit change for only 10MP increased cost, Combine with murderous glee (to increase crit chance) and high restore (to recover mp on crit). HFGL
The map in which murakumo is located is almost fully explorable from the get go.
I am barely looking at a guide when I play this game, it’s only when I’m trying to figure out the objective in the side quest because sometimes the game doesn’t show you the objective, which is really annoying. I still haven’t figured out where the virtual battler is. Shove it dude, some people don’t want to spend hours trying to figure out what to do next. This is not 1990 this is 2024.
Since this will be more helpful than anything else I can say here - you should talk with more NPCs and you will find things a little easier at times. It is also not unheard of for some of the generic "chat box" icon NPCs to have a mission or something, and you only find out by talking with them.
