how do I use objects with my demons ?

I saw a video of a person whose demons could use items. Is this a skill that is unlocked later ?

Yep. You need to kill a certain abcess, then spend the appropiate amount of glory to unlock.

Does anybody know if i gift a demon a present and i want to sacrifice him to ger a new one demon and want the old demon back from the kompodium does the friendship reset or is it the old one

In Canon of Creation it comes much earlier, I believe.
