Aoe Charm?

I thought for sure this was a fight you were *meant* to lose like in a lot of games... nope. I now see why people say this game is very difficult. If you know, you know. Lord help me.

there's tons of aoe charms. you should get passives like abyssal mask and hoard amrita showers/demons with me patra

Could always come back to that boss in a reborn playthrough with tons of amrita showers, me patra, tao's heal, etc.

Amrita showers, Passives, and Essences help a lot. Take your time to grasp each demons passives, innate skills, and omagatoki. This game is challenging and punishing if you're not prepared, but it's far from unfair as you're given pretty much every tool to make it manageable or even to trivialise it.

For anyone having trouble fighting Naamah, you can use Apsaras' Essence so your MC nullifies her AOE charm, consequently she would lose two actions. Demons with Innate skill: Willpower such as Vouivre are also helpful as they increase the chance of your party members to take your desired actions despite being charmed.

Not to Mention she also uses physical attacks, so you can use her for the innate skill and use her as your damage dealer at the same time.

the naamah fight is really only a knowledge check you lose once to learn her moves then you get asparas and her essence to neuter the fight (this applies to many fights in the game)

I was just on that boss and i made use of patra and won the around level 18. Make a Sudama and teach at least 1 other demon patra and you'll be fine? (hard mode BTW so it's 100% possible on normal/hard at this level with these demons)

to be fair i did have 3 dead in the stock and 2 charmed in the stock. took a minute to figure out a gameplan. you can get plenty of amrita soda before now too though.

[to be clear, not recommending a full team of magic users, all my phys attackers, bicorn, tsuchigumo, azumi died]

Only took one attempt though, doesn't seem like that bad of a fight all things considered. I do think she's a lot harder than Nuwa on CoC at that point though.
