Game stuttering?
The game starts to stutter if I play for longer than 30 minutes.

hardware issue? do you meet the specs for the game? I've never stuttered a single time while playing, you might be running out of RAM/VRAM or you might have the game on an HDD instead of SSD which could be causing that issue if your cpu is up to par.

This game is really struggling on some configurations for whatever reason. I'm rocking a 3080, R7 5800x3D with 32gb of ram, and yet, I was experiencing terrible stutter for whatever reason.

The fix for me was to play the game in windowed mode. Game was otherwise stuttering too much to play.

i play borderless window, rtx 3090, i9-12900KF, 64GB RAM, SSD, windows 11 and have never stuttered a single time in the game. runs so flawlessly smooth, no crashes, have been surprised at how damn good of a release it's been... comparatively, infinite wealth had a lot of problems on launch, but this one has been flawless on my system so far.

The weird thing for me is that I put 15h into this game on release day and didn't have a single issue. On the second day I had a stutter as soon as loading the game, eventually game stuttered so bad it crashed. 2nd run went fine and I put some more hours yet again.

On 3rd day the game didn't want to stop stuttering at all and that's when I discovered that turning on the windowed mode helps for this.

This is weird af, definitely not shader compilation, maybe denuvo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up badly.

I have it installed on a SSD and playing on a build with a 3080, I legit don't know what the issue is. I might try playing it in windowed like Wielk said

You can try the Unreal Engine 4/5 Universal Stutter Fix.

I used to have stuttering in SMTV.
After using Lossless Scaling and Engine.ini tweaks, I'm able to run it smoothly.

https://github.com/Lyall/SMTVFix/releases
This also helps improve your game.

i use both SpecialK & SMTVFix and haven't experienced any crashes in 111+ hours nor any stutters.

Not happening at all, I believe your rig is overheating.

im also using specialK (for some window behavior stuff) however im still getting rough shader decompilation stutter, any notable settings you changed?

i just wanted render in background; only changed the settings attached to make it render in background & still have sound so i can alt-tab out of the game during cutscenes. (although lately i saw it's built into reload-ii's essential pack now along with a lot of the stuff i use SMTVfixes for but don't wanna change what's not broken)

yeah i turned something like that on as the window kept fighting with my NVIDIA replay thing. Oh well, i guess i’ll just hope they push out an update to fix the few annoyances i have with this PC port.
