Learn Japanese and buy the original and a cheaper price.

As a newcomer, you're paying 60€ for minimum 160 hours of content.

As someone who originally played SMTV on the Switch, you're paying 60€ for 80 hours of almost new content + 89 new tracks, big QOL changes, new demons, new quests, new ingame features, and so on.

Pricey? Not really. Unless of course you have a general problem how games today cost that much.

I have a general problem with how games today cost too much and still think this is good value for money.

I am ok with the price as i didn’t buy it on switch. If I had i probably would not get the game until a sale and I read a review telling more details about the second campaign.

That’s what I did with persona 5 royal and didn’t feel the new dungeon and character was worth the time investment.

Unless the price matches Valve's pricing matrix (already adjusted for inflation), it's considered overpriced in those respective regions, objectively.

All I see is excessive amount of reds, and the game oddly blocked for pre-order in some countries too.

Good luck getting second and third world country people to buy at those prices, they're only losing out on sales in those regions. And this series is already niche as it is.

This is the case for most things these days IMO (especially since I don't agree with the arbitrary jump to 69USD being the 'standard' these days when the quality of gaming hasn't seen a universal improvement to justify it either..)

That said, this is exactly why sites like GGdeals and IsThereAnyDeal exist.
My Digital Deluxe edition from Gamebillet came in cheaper than even the 'Standard Edition' pricing here on Steam... I buy 99% of my games elsewhere and I'm genuinely surprised other people don't either.

Most third party sites don't even offer me my region's currency or local payment options, so I end up with inflated USD figures (even worse if taxes are involved). The only one that does right by me is GreenManGaming, and those guys don't get licenses from some publishers (especially Sega) BECAUSE they offer fair regional pricing.

What a messed up scenario.

Damn that sucks. Yeah My Aussie pricing is pretty bad everywhere but places like GmG, Fanatical and Gamebillet atleast alleviate some of that.
Shame that GmG has so tight publisher restrictions these days :/
