Report a translation problem
If it's the latter: it is a known issue that High quality ground textures degrades performance heavily (i.e. more than expected).
Sorry for the late reply, I read about ground textures degrading performance but on my machine it feels like it caps the FPS at 60. Like it doesn't vary at all and if it was a performance issue I would be expecting it fluctuate more like 50-70.
I didn't notice the FPS cap option actual changing but my fps goes from 130-140~ straight to a rock solid 60 as soon as I enable it, like it's tied with vsync or smth. But could just be a coincidence.
