Ground textures on High locks fps to 60?
Is this intended? As soon as I switch ground textures from high to medium I get uncapped FPS again so it doesn't seem to be a performance bottleneck.

Hmm no, that's not intended as far as I know. Do you mean that the FPS cap option in the graphics menu actually changes depending on your ground texture setting? Or that the FPS drops when you select High quality ground texture?

If it's the latter: it is a known issue that High quality ground textures degrades performance heavily (i.e. more than expected).

Sorry for the late reply, I read about ground textures degrading performance but on my machine it feels like it caps the FPS at 60. Like it doesn't vary at all and if it was a performance issue I would be expecting it fluctuate more like 50-70.

I didn't notice the FPS cap option actual changing but my fps goes from 130-140~ straight to a rock solid 60 as soon as I enable it, like it's tied with vsync or smth. But could just be a coincidence.
