At the moment they dont have definitive experience in terms of custom scenarios, its only Combat Ops or Conflict. So be prepared for repetitive gameplay with much less uniqueness A3 had. But gameplay of Reforger is miles ahead, so I suggest you try
I will check those modes out on yt to see whether I like them or not. MIKE team mode was basically area secure and fight waves of enemies while occupying the zone. So, hopefully either combat ops or conflict is similar to that. I don't mind the repetitiveness! Thanks for the response.
This games server-sided optimization is the worse possible; so the Conflict vs AI has a incredibly low Server FPS which causes alot of issues with the physics and other various issues. Although, I thought it was extremely fun with the huge 128 Player battle vs about 50 AI... Really shows some peoples intelligence.
However, the Game Master servers can be... Eh. I've had a few really fun and exciting experiences on them but they can be really crap. Extremely picky Game Masters or ones who are very quiet and get angry that they aren't heard, idiots, and the bunch.
If you have patience both can be a good experience; even with a friend if you have any. However if your looking to just sit down and play I wouldn't fully recommend it, as RobertKing420 Puts it,
We play with 4 and the server / map typically runs 24 hours a day for as long as it takes us to complete it, which is playing a few hours a day for 4 to 5 days and over 12 hours total game time. We complete the map with very few issues and definitely no game breaking issues.
So if you can arrange a dedicated server with a few friends you can get lots of enjoyable game time. We all have had the public server experience and find that playing with random players, not to mention mixing in Xbox players, is typically going to prevent the game from being played a certain way... unless chaotic annoyance is the game play you seek ;)
