I played though the caves / castle / jungle / graveyard. Found enough tokens to unlock the hookshot upgrade that lets you grab onto rings. For the life of me I can't find a) what allows me to get past the red spiky barriers , b) what allows me to get through the grey patches of ground (concrete?) , or c) allows me to interact in any meaningful way with the fast-moving pink ice-block-looking platforms in the castle / graveyar...

when I hit 0 lives on a boss fight my screen goes to the entrance, but my player is still all the way at the checkpoint. The screen never goes back to my player and I end up fighting the boss without the screen pointing at the boss room. Pretty game breaking....

Was it a personal choice or a design choice when it was decided that your vintage game would require more than the Steam client min requirements (Win7/Sp1) to execute?
