As of now, what's the point of buying all the armies if they all go through the same-paced campaign routine with weak meta-progression, and will all feel the same?
Maybe because the game scratches the itch I've had since I've moved into a place where I cannot setup and do my miniature gaming like I used to. I've got 1000's of models, decent terrain etc in boxes and printed up, as well as different periods, campaign rule-sets etc.
It would be nice if we had a way to add maps though. But I suspect there are some underlying "paths" that allow for the AI to do stuff that would have to be added.
true. if there is an option to allow us to adjust the difficulty for us to get a tailored expereince that works for us. (aka an option that gives us multipliers in gold gain xp gain etc.) that will go for miles.
The Minotaur leader was fantastic. When can we expect similar leaders for Orcs (Troll), Draconid (Kroxigor), and Abyssal (Dragonogres)?
Dark Elves are great fun(slavery is interesting adition). Surus with they aspects and Chaos with mutations are grat. I'm curious, when will we see Chaos Dwarves/Dugar, Ogres, Mummies, and others?
Will we be introduced to any original races such as Usagi Yojimbo (and other anthropomorphic characters), Insectoid Hive people (like Thri-Kreen, Ant Knights, and Spider People), Golem Like automatons(Warforged), anti demons(Angels), Ancient Romans, Greek, Egiptians, Germans, Slavs, Celts, Vikings, Asians with mitological aditions?
Can we anticipate new units like Dragon Turtles for the Lizardmen, Goblin doom divers or Pegasus Knights? What about characters like Werewolf or Frankenstein for the Undead? Units that can traverse water?
How about maps with terrain that is crossable but causes wounds to units crossing it? Or terrain that heals units in its proximity?
Finished 2 times the campaign and the challenge unlock not carrying over is a bit no go to me. It's simply too easy.
More variety in maps and random events would also be welcome.
Also, different deployments would really help and should not be too hard to implement.
Ambushed in column, surrounded, forces split, etc. That will help make battles feel fresh.
As for rules, from Old world the big one missing is: Stand and shoot reaction
