It just falls a bit flat when you got diamonds in EU in these lists where 280 saves are less impressive (usually just them passing to each other) compared to a Pro League saving doing ~200 saves against top 40 or better. Nothing you can do much about except for maybe limit search for certain elos/average rank per match? Not sure. Kinda like a bonus thing to give 1 title for each elo to make high elos look forward for such titles. I can only see very few high elos on this list, one of them being Zarhynif (and in this season he mostly played DUO Q with Chovy- aka Fang, which would make it easier for him to appear in the list)
Also the MVP one is kinda hard to do in EU as we find less games on average especially in high elo. Maybe a MVP rate per game (with certain amount of games you have to have played) would be easier to make such list (example, User01 has a MVP rate of 0.7 per 1 game - this example would be a really high mvp rate - but you get the gist.)
Appreciate all the work you do :)
if your idea of mvp per game then min matches is needed, like i have 16 wins and 13 of them are mvp, i have total of 30~ matches this season, so for being in this "mvp list" would be better if min matches were about 60-100
yeah, they're so low I forgot that they're from EU - like I don't mean this in a bad way. This just proves my point if you spam too many games you get these awards - instead of them being a little more skill leveled. My suggestion was to also give people that are in particular higher skilled something to look forward to, too.
JustLogan2, KiraTile and Scellios are also EU and they are in top, 2 of them are omega or something
Justlogan is NA
Kiratile played a lot, they mostly played in Challengers though. We don't have that many goalies in super high elo, so you can get up there. Not meaning to judge Kiratile's skill (I have them in my friendlist and they got better recently)
Scellios isn't in my games. I think they're mostly in Diamond games. It might be a bit arrogant of me to say this, but high elo gameplay is findable around top 50 in EU, that's roughly high chall in rank. NA has a bit more elo, their omega started around top 200. But I bet there's a similar skill distrubution there.
For reference:
EU Plat: Start to pass
EU Diamond (Top 250ish): Start to go where the core will go, not where it is, basic item knowledge
EU Low Challenger (Top 100ish): Know coreflip angles, itemization of awakenings, knows meta picks on maps like aimi's app (1) Rasmus 2) Juli 3) Asher 4) Drekar)
EU High Challenger (Top 60ish): Advanced Dribbling, Will last several interactions of red core flip fights, know how to redirect red core flips to keep same speed (corner), let the core roll instead of wasting strikes
EU Omega and above (Top 40ish): Uses Areas behind them really efficiently, Advanced passing, Advanced Angle attacks (example, shoots at the upper left end of oni village barriers or advanced demon dais barrier angles), knows advanced Red core techniques (for example, shooting up and down to keep the speed)
I've been meaning to say most people you see in this list, especiallyi n MVP, are mostly Low Chall and Diamond Players. I'd say that's roughly mid elo. Not a beginner stage, but not pro play either.
That's why I recommended a sort of system that can also pull in a bit of quality. As someone suggested, roughly 50+ won games + (my suggestion) MVP rate of won games. For example, In S1 (or was it S2?) Kekle9 (top 3 goalie, pro player) had a MVP rate of 60% or higher, which is super super high - he was dominating his matches back then. I don't think this sort of high player would've shown up on such a statistic, though. Since efficient play makes you give less redirections and saves usually, not more (depends on overall team comps if it is a little bit higher.)
Don't know how you can calculate an efficient play like that though. It has to be some very smart idea of something like "amount of saves and redirections needed in comparision of the minutes the match needed to end over 100 matches" kinda thing.
As mentioned prior I'm actually praising the devs for such an award system, it just feels a bit off because the people I think of aren't appearing in the list at all.
Someone like Alex2407, Balu (different OS Name), ZZZ (Luna KOing), possibly Venomyami, Kekle9 (prior seasons), Zarhynif, Fang (current name: Chovy-) and other names such as Connax & Cookiess. Though a few don't play enough ranked (just tournament) to be possibly be in such a statistics. I guess that's what happens when some players played too much on smurfs around here LUL (though only a few of them, not all)
Though most of them win tournaments either way so they have a unique title.
Ad hominem aren't as smart as you think they are. If you feel like something is wrong what I said, you can always just suggest something different.
