Probably. I had a really bad experience with ranked that showed me the game clearly lacks a population there, and that made me not want to continue playing.

And on top of this the constant playerbase is just low

mostly because devs dont advertise their game outside of their yt/twitter community which isnt good for the game s growth

I was enjoying this sports moba until it became a one shot fest. I used to win by focusing on scoring but that game is long gone. It just feels like the game took the wrong direction, and I can just play League for that.

he does okay if the opponent doesn't acknowledge that its Drekar, doesn't harass him for it and a 2nd player is also playing as a goalie pretty much.

Dre'kar goalie is one of those goalie/midfield pressure, which i believe is a much weaker kai? Not really sure about that but i do use drekar goalie and it really feels nice getting strike shot + 2 primary shots to keep the core away in your field without leaving your barrier that much.

hes better than kai up close but kai at mid range is better, I would say drek needs certain awakenings to be good where as kai just functions out the gate as a goalie, drek obv way better than kai as a forward

the game pretends that you win the game by yourself, cuz it doesn't always match you with people who have an idea of ​​the game, if the game is 3v3 so be it... and not 1v3

unfortunately yeah. it's what happens when you spend more on marketing than fixing the game, like hiring dozens of streamers to promote your game (they don't even touch the game anymore), having trigger animate your trailer (which is amazing), and spend even more money to collaborate with an artist such as DemonDice. All this, but issues still persist and the events are worse than lackluster. The issues and features they did wind up adding were done far into the future than initially asked for. I love this game to death, but with the decisions they've made already, the game might just die before next year.

Matchmaking is still terrible in ranked.
Still no hidden MMR or basic matchmaking (as in not pitting all the new players against a team of old timers, divide them both equally in both teams lol) in QP/Normals so the match quality there is usually a reverse russian roulette.
No guilds, group chat or a proper way to communicate and organize between players properly. Custom could use a lot of improvement.
Content release is too slow and underwhelming.
It's a F2P game but they release 3 emotes every month and we're lucky if there's even more than 2 skins, if at all.
Battle pass obviously taking ages to finish to let the most likely understaffed art team do their job (the blood of these games).
Events are disappointing, just boring quests you complete by playing the game as you would anyways, no cutscene with the characters interacting or anything. Also if you pick wrong your account is basically randomly "bricked" if you are a completitionist.
You quickly have nothing to grind for, lack of fomo in a f2p.
The list goes on and on.

Game is really fun but plagued with bad decision. I'd argue that the only way to really enjoy this game is through customs.

the game is on a few consoles and the playerbase on steam only is around 900-1000 during work time, and 2000+ on evenings. most players play on console, and the game has full crossplay. the matchmaking needs to be balanced but it's easy to find games. the game is fun and not dying at the moment

also it's free so it's not like you are going to waste anything for playing while it lasts lol. drama bois
