Possible bug or over site or suggestion

Needed eggs for a VIP event. Thought I had eggs, but it still said zero eggs. After failing the event due to not have all the ingredients, I went to set up the menu for Storm Shark Party, come to find out I DO have eggs as the first one on the menu is a While Shark Omelet, requiring three Grade A Eggs!

I am guessing the event simply needs a lower grade egg, but it really should take ANY grade egg.

Kind of frustrating not being able to do the event due to that.

It's not a bug or an oversight, it's just that there really are two different egg ingredients.

Regardless, the VIP event will come back around. You can't permanently fail them.

Then the suggestion part comes in. It really makes no sense that you can't use an upgraded ingredient for the same dish.

If the quest says one ingredient, you need EXACTLY that ingredient, not an upgraded option. So just put chickens that lay normal eggs more often and you'll have them.

Or read a suggestion as a suggestion! Already know how to go about it. Didn't say I an issue or was making a suggestion on that part.

You have eggs! Why not use them?

Did the quest, but that doesn't change the suggestion, nor the reason for it.

Though, with four chickens, I thought I would be getting 4 eggs a day. So far, I only get two a day.

Chickens unfortunately only have a chance of an egg every day. Later, you can get a chicken feeder and buy feed that increases the chances of egg production.

I can see where you're coming from, but personally I'm inclined against it because no ingredient in the game functions as an "upgrade" of another and there's no substitution of any other ingredient. Simply for consistency's sake, I would keep them as two different ingredients.
